When I was young my sister had an acoustic guitar she just left around the house. I would take a cheap plastic microphone and put it inside the guitars body, plug it into the stereo and crank it! That was my first interaction with distortion and it was glorious! And, to this day I still enjoy manipulating sounds and trying to create something with my personal stamp.
